How long does it take to set up?

We've designed Tivlo so that most cleaning companies should be up and running within a day. You create your account, add your clients and sites, upload your key documents, and you're live. There's no complicated onboarding process and no technical knowledge required.

Do I need any technical skills?

Not at all. If you can use a smartphone, you can use Tivlo. The dashboard is designed for cleaning company owners who are busy running sites, not sitting at a desk. Everything works on your phone, tablet, or laptop.

How much does Tivlo cost?

Tivlo has three plans: Starter at £59/month (or £49/month paid annually, up to 25 clients), Growth at £149/month (or £124/month annually, up to 150 clients), and Scale at £299/month (or £249/month annually, unlimited clients). All plans include unlimited portal users and no setup fees.

Do you charge per user?

No — not for portal access. Your clients log into their portal for free, regardless of how many you have. Staff accounts are included up to your plan limit. You pay one flat monthly fee based on your plan.

Can I change plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If your business grows and you need more clients or sites, just move to the next plan. Changes take effect immediately.

Is there a contract or lock-in?

No long-term contracts. Monthly plans are month-to-month — cancel any time. Annual plans give you a discount and are billed yearly, but you're never locked into a multi-year agreement.

Does Tivlo work with Sage 50 or Xero?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Tivlo supports both Sage 50 and Xero. Your invoices sync automatically and appear in your clients' portals without any double entry. Your accounting software stays as the source of truth; Tivlo simply displays and delivers the invoices. If you use a different package, we'd love to hear about it — we're building out integrations based on what our Founding Partners actually use.

What can my clients actually see in their portal?

Your clients get their own branded login where they can view and download invoices, access shared documents (contracts, insurance certificates, COSHH data sheets), read inspection reports with photos and scores, and raise requests or flag issues.

Can my staff access Tivlo too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tivlo includes a staff portal where your operatives and supervisors can access site details, documents, and updates. Staff log in with a simple link or QR code — nothing to install, no app to download. You can also place QR codes at each site for quick-access forms.

Can I brand the portal with my own logo and colours?

Yes. Every portal is branded to your cleaning business — your logo, your colours, your company name. Your clients see your brand, not ours. On the Scale plan, you can fully white-label the portal so Tivlo branding is removed entirely.

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tivlo is built on enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Your data is hosted on secure UK infrastructure. Each cleaning company's data is completely isolated — your clients can only see their own information.

Question 14

Who owns the data?

Accepted Answer

You do. Your client records, documents, invoices, and inspection reports belong to your business. If you ever decide to leave Tivlo, you can export everything. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

Question 15

What happens if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Your data is retained for a reasonable period after cancellation, giving you time to export everything you need. Your clients will no longer be able to access their portal once your subscription ends, so we recommend giving them notice before you cancel.
